Me and my partner for this unit, lauren chapmen. Went into the animation studio last week to do some tests with stop motion, which is our chosen method for producing our animation… the testing day was, interesting! We learnt A LOT, we figured out its harder then it looks to produce a good quality stop motion animation. We figued out angles that we SHOULDNT move the camera around to try and create special effects (so complicated for people who have used the camera once)
We also took positives, for example we know our colouring for the characters works well with the lighting on the camera, and weve learnt where we should start the animation.
