Grimm is an american TV series. a fantasy cop drama, with a twist. its been described as:

“a cop drama—with a twist… a dark and fantastical project about a world in which characters inspired by Grimms’ Fairy Tales exist”

originally, the ‘grimms fairy tale’ aspect got me hooked on watching it. However, i practice special effects makeup- which is a massive part of this TV show.  

SYNOPSIS
 A supernatural crime drama involving a police detective (played by David Giuntoli) who can see the dual nature of creatures among us hiding in human form. As the descendant of the Grimms, he can see their inner natures. He also has the responsibility of being judge, jury, and sometimes executioner for crimes among these “others” for which there are no human laws that apply.

the super natural creatures in this TV show, are called Wesen. these are the creatures that are created using special effects makeup.

  

this is one of my favorite characters, a Blootbot. which is derived from the same ideas as a werewolf, can be deadly, especially when seeing the colour red and when angry or upset. i really enjoy the makeup as its simple, yet effective, all theyve changed is the brow line, chin, ears and eye colour its make his complexion change massively.

this is my favorite so far in the series. its a crocodile like wesen. with warror like instincts. and looks the most challanging special effects makeup wise. the part i enjoy most is the scaly complexion, the texture of the skin mirrors the ‘crocodile’ its inspired by.
