I must say I feel bad for going into this lecture with a closed mind about it, because I don’t usually enjoy the lectures from graphic designers. However, it was one of the best lectures I’ve been to, a fantastic insight into industry, and the fact you don’t have to use digital techniques-which I didn’t actually know was possible in graphic design I thought it was always digital! to create amazing products.
he was the most down to earth lecturer ive seen, really funny and genuinely got REALLY excited talking about the handmade processes of graphic design, you could see that he loves what he does, and he misses that era of graphics. he was witty which made the lecture stay interesting and he constantly explained his ideas and ways he did things which really inspired me.
I especially enjoyed his artwork for ‘the breeders’ where he used the ideas of a fertility dance and I really love the outcome. I feel its so out of the box and its inspiring to think that big.
