On drafting my proposal, me and Holly Bassett (the person who sits next door to me in the studio) realised we both had similar themes threaded through our project, therefor, we decided to collaborate!
Holly brings to the table a more contemporary and fine art twist to mental health issues, she’s a strong 3D worker which compliments the way i work to, so we decided a collaboration would be better for both of us, and as we will be working together, we can also motivate each other throughout the project.
We decided on making a fake theatre show and campaign for mental illnesses like anxiety and depression, we will make props for this show, such as masks and costumes. And on the more sellable side, for the show we will have to make a business that runs the show, so we can make logos, posters, business cards and sellable merchandise for the business to sell which will compliment
the show.
All in all, i am excited!
