We received a new project today, i chose to create my own brief, which was surprisingly harder then i expected, i knew what i wanted to do, but not in what context i wanted to do it. so i chose to create masks for a campaign aimed at teenagers and adolescence, raising awareness for mental health, it carries on in a way from my children’s book project, as that was raising awareness about depression.
however for this project, i wanted to get my hands dirty and MAKE something huge, make it a challenge for myself. so i chose to learn how to create prosthetics and SFX make up masks! i will hopefully be using the mask to create posters and gifs illustrating what a mental illness FEELS like.
